My Approach
I support caregivers in cultivating practical meditation and mindfulness practices one small moment at a time. So you can refill your well-being and care more fully for the people who need you the most.
Mindfulness meditation is the bedrock of my approach. Through personalised mentoring, I’ll work alongside you to develop an integrated plan for gently cultivating the habit of a regular meditation practice- often combining the practices of mindfulness, movement, and creativity.
As a student and practitioner of Tibetan Buddhism, I am particularly curious about applying ancient insights to the challenges of a more modern life. When helpful, sessions are further enriched with current views from neuroscience. Specifically, the nexus between meditation and its beneficial impact on the brain.
It is my hope that by introducing a more integrated approach towards self-care, clients feel more compassion towards themselves, those they care for, and their world. The benefit being that when challenges arise, they are experienced in more workable ways.

My Experience & Teachers
In addition to being a yoga teacher, I received my certification to teach mindfulness meditation from Dharma Moon and Tibet House in 2016. Founded by senior Buddhist teacher, author, and musician David Nichtern. Dharma Moon is one of my touchstones for enriching both my personal practice and Buddhist study.
Most recently, I completed the two year Yearlong Buddhist Studies Course with Ethan Nichtern and am grateful to have collaborated with Dharma Moon as both an assistant teacher and 1:1 mentor for the past several years.
I have introduced meditation programs in spaces such as prison, high schools, wellness centers, and yoga studios. I am pleased to now offer 1:1 mentoring through my personal website.
As a partner, mother, and daughter, I am particularly interested in supporting other caregivers in applying mindfulness practices in their busy lives. Sharing tools that may help them show up more fully for the people who need them the most.
At home on the South Coast of Massachusetts, I teach weekly in-person chair yoga classes for beginners and older adults. Classes include meditation and breath work. Additionally, I host a bi-monthly community meditation group via the Zoom online platform.
Beyond work, I enjoy trail walks with our 2 dogs, knitting (and un-knitting!) and pursuing the dream of publishing my first children’s book, Bring Your Butterflies.

More Influences
A few years ago I had the serendipitous good fortune to find myself at Gampo Abbey, a Buddhist monastery in Nova Scotia. It happened to be the monks’ principle teacher, Pema Chodron’s, birthday. Though she was not in residence at the time, just being there made the dozen or more books I’ve read by her that much more impactful.
Below are other teachers who have impacted my life in meaningful ways. Some in person, others on-line, and many through their books and recordings. All of them present, kind-hearted, and generous.
*In the spirit of keeping it brief, I have listed one suggested reading by each but certainly any of their books would be of benefit.
